In 1993 Bobby and I got married, we went to New Zealand on our honeymoon. While we were there we went to see Rachel at Nambala Kennels. It was Mothers Day when Rachel brought out a beautiful pup that Bobby and I fell in love with. We wanted to name him Kiwi so his 'official name' is Nambala Faranah Kiwi.
I'm not sure why it is, but Kiwi has found a way deep into our hearts. It might be his caring face, or the way he tilts his head when he looks at you. It could be the way he plays chase with us. All I can say he is a friend and a companion that is always there for us. At times he almost reads your mind, he knows when you are sad and when you are happy, moody, whatever - he's got it. When you come home he is always happy to see you and will always cheer you up.

Kiwi is the protector of Bobby, whenever she is jogging or just walking down the beach, when she is approached by someone she does not know, he is on the alert. He positions himself between the person and Bobby and keeps a close eye on them until he is sure that they are safe. Even as Bobby and Kiwi walk away, he has to look back to make sure it is OK. It has been several years but Kiwi is going to have two little sisters to play with. He knows Bobby is pregnant and he is very gentle around her now. Kiwi is going to have his hands full looking after the whole family, but I'm sure he'll do a great job. I want to thank Rachel for introducing us to Kiwi - the best friend we could have asked for.
