"Sari"

Our girl Ria was mated to William and kept a little girl "Sari" and a boy, "Simba" went to my father and mother.
Growing up Sari just about caused as much trouble as her mother, only she concentrated on destroying my garden and ripping washing off the line. It never took much to realise that Sari and Ria had been up to no good when you arrived home from work and they were not there to greet you at the gate. My immediate reaction was to look for the damage. Had they pulled out the replacement magnolia I planted or had they been swinging on the washing again??

One of their "best games" must have been to get a bra off the line and have a tug of war!! After moving into the country we extended our numbers and variety of pets.
Sari at one stage became rather protective over an orphan lamb, even going so far as to having it sleep with her in her kennel. Actually Sari is really good with all our "farmyard" animals - our chooks run free and our only fences are normal farm fences which Sari has never attempt to jump.
Sari is really Tony's dog - she absolutely adores him. Wherever Tony goes you will find Sari no more than 2 feet away. I remember when Rachel "attempted" to show her at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Champ Show. Sari wouldn't face the way Rachel wanted her to because Tony was over in the other direction. Poor Rachel, there was nothing she could do to make Sari stand. Sari also loves our daughter Shannon, and has become Shannon's best mate.

SHOW CAREER

Sari has been awarded Best in Show at three Rhodesian Ridgeback Championship Shows by noted International Judges. Two of them by renowned Rhodesian Ridgeback Breeder/Judges

RR Championship Show 1993 - Judge Barbara Sawyer-Brown (U.S.A)

Sari was awarded Best in Show and Best Intermediate in Show
