"Jessie"
Jessie, was so different from Harry and number of people vastly mis-understood her. She treated her time in the show ring very seriously, a real professional. However, as soon as she was home or on familiar turf she returned to her old self, playful and very affectionate. Imagine our surprise when we discovered the enjoyment Jessie was getting out of bouncing on the trampoline. We wondered for ages who was putting the dog prints all over the mat.
When she became old enough to exercise with Harry and I, we soon realised that the pace had quickened, in fact, it wasn't long before I had invested in a mountain bike just to keep up! We spent a lot of time together exploring all the fire breaks and tracks around the hills of the Hutt Valley. Harry normally running beside me and Jessie out front leading the way.

The addition of Jessie to the neighbourhood not only meant company for Harry, but it gave a whole new meaning to the term "Neighbourhood Watch"!. Anybody who ventured down our shared drive was warned of the patrolling duo, a most welcome sight at the end of any day. All through the night they could be heard patrolling around the property, giving warning barks for anybody who got within range.
