His first night home I decided to sleep in the rumpus room with him to keep him company, he in his cosy bed complete with rugs, ticking clock, hot water bottle - the works, while I would sleep on the couch, not the most comfortable but bearable for one night. However that was not to be and six nights later we both decided there wasn't enough room for the two of us on the couch, so we adjourned upstairs to my bed where the duvet was much cosier and there was more room - and there we stayed.
Before long Jonti was firmly part of our family. He soon found out who was 'boss' and he accepted the position!!
He has a fettish for perfumes, soaps, body crèmes, moisturisers, aftershave, in fact anything that has a smell. He grabs a cushion when visitors arrive and charges them with the pillow until he gets the attention he thinks he deserves - after all, everyone is his friend aren't they!!
Jonti is always ready for food, walks or sleep. Loves dancing with a partner - or he will grab his cushion and run around madly, if no partner is available. He is our champion and our family cant imagine a day without him. He is a lovely, gentle dog and friend.
